
Chad Troyer is a craftsperson working in textiles, specifically with weaving and dyeing. They are an MFA Candidate at the University of Kentucky. They graduated from Kent State University in 2022, receiving a BFA in Sculpture and Expanded Media, in addition to a BA in French. Born in Ohio, Chad has spent most of their life in Northeast Ohio, formerly working at Praxis Fiber Workshop. There, Chad taught beginner weavers, as well as worked in Praxis’ Digital Weaving Residency. Chad was an Alice Brown Memorial Scholarship recipient in 2023, joining WARP that year and currently serves on WARP’s Board of Directors.
